Parking
There is limited parking on the Esplanade, but there is a large public car park opposite.

Disabled Access
Surgery access has been redesigned with the elderly and disabled in mind. Although the surgery is on two floors, facilities are available for the elderly and disabled to be seen downstairs. Please mention at the time of booking your appointment if you need to be seen downstairs so we can make sure a room is available.

The Beacon Health Centre is now part of the UCS (Urgent Care Service). It is for those who have been advised by a health professional – doctor, dentist, optician, or pharmacist – or the NHS 111 service – to visit the UCS.

In order to access the service, phone 111 or ring 01983 618388 which is the surgery number and select option 1 which will put you through to the 111 service; they handle all calls for the out-of-hours service. Visitors to the Beacon Health centre (directions below) must first phone the out-of-hours service to access this. It is not a walk-in service.
If your needs cannot reasonably be defined as urgent or an emergency case, please wait until after 8.00am on the next working day before phoning your own doctor at the surgery.

If you have an Island dentist, you should contact their office. They will give you details of your dentist’s plans for emergency cover. Or, you can call the Dental Helpline on 0845 050 8345.
