We are very pleased to welcome Dr Kate Cambridge who joined the practice in April 2017 and Jayne Fairbrother, Advanced Nurse Practitioner who joined us on 1st July 2017.
Dr Cambridge works part-time and Jayne Fairbrother works full time.
Dr Elsmore is, sadly leaving the practice at the end of September 2017.
Dr Rogers and Dr Gove will both be reducing their working commitments from 1st October 2017 and will be sharing a single post between them. This is going to be organised on a 2 weekly rota and hence there will, regrettably, be a significant drop in their availability.
Dr Rachel Howard, the practice Pharmacist, is remaining with the practice.
General Practice remains under intense pressure, not only through workload, but also in terms of staff recruitment and retention and the structure of the practice team will inevitably have to change over the coming years, with the strong likelihood of much less medical time being available to patients and a greater reliance on a strong team of highly skilled health professionals.
We need our patients help in this process and ask you to always consider whether your health needs and concerns can be dealt with by other health professionals, such as the Community Pharmacist, 111, Physiotherapy and use of self-help tools available through the internet.
